All mozaWeb user accounts belong to a User Group, whose type can be either a Teacher or a Student.
Teacher and Student user groups can access the same content; however, some functions are different. For example, with Teacher accounts, you can generate interactive worksheets using artificial intelligence and create study groups to which you can add students. Moreover, you can assign homework or tests to the created study groups.
You can only change your user group if you have or your institution has a Teacher licence. Teacher licences are the following ones:
- mozaBook CLASSROOM licence
- Mozaik TEACHER licence
To change your user group, click on your name (1), then My profile (2). Go to Basic information, and find the User group row (3). Here, you can change your user group in the drop-down menu (4).
If you do not see the drop-down menu, click on the 'pencil' icon (5). You will get an error message, saying that you do not have an adequate licence to change your user group. If you click on the (i) icon, this FAQ entry will appear.
When you activate a teacher licence –for example, a Mozaik TEACHER licence– your user group will be automatically modified to 'Teacher'. Similarly, when your teacher licence expires, your user group type will automatically become 'Student'.
It is also worth noting that, when you eliminate the membership of an institution, your user group type will automatically become 'Student' again.
