The Spelling mozaTool is an app for helping English learning, which is useful to practice grammatical rules and regularities. Flashcards are fun to use both in individual learning and in class. The mozaTool, Spelling, offers more than 2300 spelling exercises for English learners.
The exercises of this app are varied: some exercises focus on tricky words others contain complete sentences where the learner has to consider the whole sentence in order to choose the correct answer from the ones offered.
Several functions are available by clicking on the card itself, e.g. click on the right edge of the card to see the next one, so it’s pretty easy to use, even for beginners or the youngest pupils. By clicking on the bottom of the card you can hide the exercise, and the label indicating the spelling rule can be switched on and off by clicking on the top of the card.
Settings possibilities
By clicking on the Settings icon in the bottom left of the window you can filter the pool of exercises by age group (starting from Year 1/first grade), category (e.g. spelling mistakes, prefixes and suffixes etc.) or you can use timer, you can make 10 seconds available for each exercise.

Automatically generated exercises
Having chosen the appropriate settings, you can launch a tailor-made 20-question session which can be great e.g. for group work in class as a warm-up revision exercise, for motivation or for checking pupils' knowledge.
Making customized worksheets easily
Exercises found in spelling tools can be easily and quickly transformed into individual worksheets. By carrying the most relevant exercises across to the Test Editor application, we can obtain spectacular worksheets within a short period of time.
When we open the Test Editor in mozaBook, a new icon appears in the bottom right corner of the Spelling Tool and, by clicking on it, we can place the exercise of the card currently visible into the Test Editor.
